ince its inception in 1994, the journal Tanbou has existed thanks to the personal financial sacrifice of its editors, the generous contribution of our designer and the bold creativity of the writers and artists whose work appears in its pages. In order to maintain our intellectual independence we deliberately sought no support from commercial or financial interests, no government entity or ideological chapel.
However, we reach a point today where we need your help in order to continue to publish, to expand the work toward additional endeavors, such as the establishment of a cultural and publishing center in Haiti that we want to pursue.
We therefore call upon our readers and sympathizers to support continued publication of the magazine and Tanbou’s related projects to whose materialization we devote our efforts.
We invite you to contribute whatever you can in the following categories:
Friend of Tanbou: $50–$99
Supporter will receive a signed copy of the trilingual Anthology of Haitian Writers Published in the Review Tanbou
Active Supporter: $100–$499
Supporter will receive two signed copies of the trilingual Anthology of Haitian Writers Published in the Review Tanbou
Sustaining Benefactor: $500–$999
Supporter will receive five signed copies of the trilingual Anthology of Haitian Writers Published in the Review Tanbou
Circle of Solidarity / Philanthropic Encouragement: $1000 and up.
Donor(s) receive ten signed copies of the trilingual Anthology of Haitian Writers Published in the Review Tanbou, as well as their name printed in the forward of the next book published by Trilingual Press.
